Fleeing Uyghurs Live in Deplorable Conditions in Thai Detention Centers

About 300 Uyghurs from China's restive Xinjiang region are being held in several detention centers in Thailand since they began arriving more than a year ago. Some of them, claiming they had fled repression in their homeland, have been living in deplorable conditions in the centers, resulting in illnesses and deaths, according to eyewitnesses. RFA received photos taken by a listener in December showing conditions in some of the centers.
