This is what the US policy should focus on
People without representation !
The Vietnamese people want their right.
Their leaders are clearly betraying their trust after years of sacrifices suggested to ordinary Vietnamese citizen.
They are really fighting for their freedom now.
Think harder for the little guys before committing to the "Big Brothers ".

Vietnam, a communist country, allowed this kind of vote to voice support/unsupport for their top leaders BUT Cambodia which claims to be a democratic country would not allow this kind of criticism for their supreme leader, Hun Sen.

As toothless as this vote of confidence (or no confidence) in Vietnam's top rulers in its Party-state was, it still goes far beyond anything done by the self-anointed rulers of the Chinese Communist Party.
