Hate Communism from ghet bac Ho :

As this tragic is unfolding, I’m sure the ugliness of our economy and political stances will be under scrutinized. However, we shouldn’t forget to exploit these thugs who run these trafficking operations. These operations are not local. They are global operations that have ties with drugs and sex trades as well.
In a way, the article addresses mostly from an economic stand point. That doesn’t do ‘justice’ for the VNmese people. For centuries, our ancestor definition of endearing root is ‘where we cut our umbilical chords and buried our placentas’. Thus, unlike the Chinese, we don’t leave VN, but try our best to make it better. Hence, before 1975, only a handful of VNmese live abroad – mostly exiles because of Western sentencing! Don’t believe me, look it up for yourself.
Today, it’s the ‘Grapes of Wrath’ for the people are completely fed up with communism. I’ll not go into the details for you can use your imagination as well.
Hope this next line will convey a dire straight situation. My father friend once said… ‘If a light pole can walk, it’ll leave VN!’

Mary Ho from usa :

Why don't these "RFA experts" take the same route as these victims of international human traffics, when they too, agree that Vietnam is better but people wanted even more and faster than Vietnam's 7% economic growths offers?
Presently, 100-million Vietnamese not only stay home and work hard, but also propel Vietnam pass the Philippines (in 2019) and aim at being the 2nd largest ASEAN economy by 2035 (overtaking Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in succession).... Although not flawless, Vietnam government's social-economic policies equitably reduce poverty, effectively attract FDI's, lopsidedly provide for quality education, encompassing welfare, modern infrastructures and steady GDP expansion as recognized by UN, World Bank, IMF and others!
After successfully transitioning from a 1/2 century of horrific war damages to peaceful but still modest development ain't fast enough for RFA-selected experts... Leave us alone in our slow way because 99% of us are enjoying what we do, thus far!
