Hate Communist from ghet bac Ho :

I would agree that the villagers have won a small battle but not the war – not yet! This is just only the 1st phase. This isn’t the time for everyone to go back home and go about their business as usual. There are more to come so be and remained vigilant. Dont' be fooled!!!
The villagers should ask/demand to have ‘a task force’ at these future inquiries/negotiation. If not, there is no telling what these vicious goons would decide without a 3rd/watchdog party.
There should be lawyer(s), media member(s), and land owners in this task force. They should rotate often so everyone can get their business and family in order. As in any legal matters, a copy of land deed, previous contracts, income from the land, and a reasonable unified demand must be put together. If not, it’ll be hard to argue the case in ‘court’ and; thus; make it easier for a ‘hostile takeover’.
Of course, the media should continue their present in town and with the region. Daily posting of the mayor office and meetings pertain to this matter are needed (if applicable).
Also, as I mentioned before, the villagers should build a watch tower and have someone at post – just based off many previous unfortunate events.
