Doan Van Vuon is an exemplary citizen, who served in the Vietnam’s People Army and took up the challenges to transform a wasteland into farm lands and fish ponds that Vietnamese government had failed to do before they leased the land to him. Local authorities made a deal with Doan Van Vuong to renew the land lease if he dropped the suit in Court, and then proceeded with forceful entry into the property of Doan Van Vuong. Is it a crime if he posed homemade bombs on his property to protect his “castle”? It is the police force who entered illegally into his property at their own perils.
