What will be the role of ASEAN if the situation gets more serious?

The answer to this question is ASEAN are the most fragile nations. They are weak, they are helpless, they are useless, they are irresponsibility, they are even fight each other, and they are could even agreed to a single point. If it comes to deal with Chinese, ASEAN will not be able to defend themselves because of the lack cooperation. For example, if Chinese attack one of the ASEAN countries, the rest of the other probably just stand and watch. It just like Russia took over Crimea from Ukraine.
