Lots of speculations in this article; however; there isn’t a fire without smoke!
These are serious issues that can lead to war not only between VN and China, but also the regions - if not the world. Hence; about 9 years ago; I asserted that VN doesn’t have to go alone in this dispute with China. VN needs to be smart about this and work with the regions to compromise with China. There are great nations in these regions, so together they may head off China aggressions.
China finally came to wealth and also a reckless bully on the block! It sucks to be China neighbor; ie Tibet and; now; VN! I’m not sure if China armies are truly tested or not. Another word, just because of their size and numerous, do they have hearts? Throughout our history, we have defeated the Chinese invaders from time to time despite of their size! Is it possible that China have already forgotten how destructive war is and their humble origin?
Unfortunate for VN and its people, Ha-Noi leaderships are uneducated cowards and without realistic visions.
I believe most VNmese would agree with me, Ha-Noi leaderships gave us thousands of reasons to run away from them, but for 1 valid reason, we’ll join their ranks to fight against any invaders – that includes China! Long live VNCH.
