Party-state-run media in China refer to the Xinjiang internment camps as "boarding schools"--that sounds appealing. Why don't CCP cadres in Xinjiang send their own children to these marvelous "free" boarding schools? Could it perhaps be that if the International Red Cross were allowed to visit any of these Xinjiang internment camps, they would be described as indoctrination and punishment camps where the "students" are often handcuffed or punished in other ways?
