This is exactly what East Turkestan Islamic Party stated. ETIP is an Islamic extremist separatist organization in western China. Its goals are to establish an independent Islamic state, like ISIS, called "East Turkestan" in Xinjiang Province, China. It has been designated as a terrorist organization by the UN, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States. FBI should be interested in this Uyghur student.

Nice scare tactic by throwing the word ISIS out there as if there is any relation between the two people. If people didn't know any better, they might believe your nonsense. But then again, that's the idea isn't it?

Out of interest, what is the legal basis, if any, for reporting a chinese student to the FBI for reporting a fellow chinese student to the chinese embassy? Also any materials on East Turkistan prior to 1949? I was under the impression that Xinjiang was part of Republic of China, an UN memebr and US ally, prior to 1949.

The Uighur dumb kid is already dead meat when he mentioned the word "East Turkestan." His family is probably already under surveillance. The Chinese students will report him to the Chinese embassy anonymously and the FBI has got no case against them. The Uighur dumb kid just got himself a free ticket to live in the USA.
