Wangchuk from NY :

This is a travesty of justice. Prof. Tohti was sentenced to life in prison for peacefully voicing his opinions about Chinese policies towards Uighurs. He never advocated violence or separatism. The Chinese court did not have any evidence to support the conclusion that Tohti supported violence. It's judgment shows the sheer lack of evidence. The CCP has no respect for human rights, rule of law or due process of law.

A shocking injustice by a tyrannically intolerant regime toward a conscientious, law-abiding, and peaceful scholar.
