That is true not only in Urumqi but in other East Turkistan cities .i am in Turpan city ,many grapes farmers depend on bank debit by year to year to servive ,life becoming more difficult ,the pressure come from goverment ,from police and armey and Han people we are discriminated in our Mather land .Good realise our siprit.

Reply to this commentPlease don't blame the Hans as we also suffer from the rise in prices. Xinjiang is also my motherland. My grandfather built roads and I support and help run an orphanage with both Han and Uygur children. Inflation is also caused by weak agriculture and we've recently started Permaculture and it's working great. All agriculturist in Western China should adopt this
