Under the harsh reign of Donald Trump's pal and notorious human rights abuser Mohammad bin Salman (MBS), the Saudi Arabian monarchy has been deporting innocent Uyghurs back to the PRC for detention and abuse. Under these circumstances, Uyghurs and other Chinese Muslims from Xinjiang should suspend the hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca for all Muslims in Xinjiang until and unless there is a major change of policy in the governments of both Saudi Arabia and China. In the near future, there is extremely low likelihood of a more humane policy toward the Uyghurs under the repressive authoritarian regimes headed by MBS and Xi Jinping respectively.
