Reply to this commentWelcome to Cambodia. There are some international NGOs here esp UNHCR working with displaced people. I think these people should be allowed to settle at third countries.
However, Cambodian people also experienced hardship regarding to forced eviction its people from the city to the urban as reasons of a so-called development.

Reply to this commentBased on humanitarian manner, they should be granted status as refugee in other country not Cambodia. In Cambodia, this government cannot take care of them even their own people are still facing oppression and unfairness. Hun Youn regime all the time abuse their people basic rights and plunder people land, forcefully evicted Khmer people from their home and repatriate Khmer Krom people back to Vietnam for execution. So please UNHCR send them to other place more safer.

Reply to this commentUN must press this close ally country of China, Cambodia to help these unfortunate people and provide all necessary things to these political and genocidal refugees by Chinese Communist without any precondition. We know that Hun Sen regime is staunch supporter of cruel giant communist, we will see what Phnom Penh government will take action as one of signatory countries on UNHCR. Recently, people who fled from Vietnam as asylum seeker mostly were sent back to Vietnam by Hun Sen as the case of centra mountainous Hmong or Khmer Kampuchea Krom.

ha ha i want to laugh a strong as i can, nowaday, who care about the humna right. as long as they got money they talked to each other. can you gus see, talk means nothing to those people. in 1975 the U.N, red chinese, russia, north vietnamses shut the world door and killed innocent cambodian and had no one come to save thoe people, lives, and later on the giant country they let the killer as communist parties came to help the corps of cambodian. that just the bad sample from the U.S.A country to oversea countries
