Wangchuk from NY :

Perhaps the anonymous reader from China should learn Tibetan or at least Tibetan names for Tibetan towns. The CCP use Chinese names for Tibetan towns/villages/counties/districts and even personal names just because these Chinese can't pronounce Tibetan words. It's an example of the colonial nature of Chinese rule over Tibet.

Anonymous Reader :

What is Kharnya in Chinese? I can't find this word on a map.

RE: Lying about 80 miles from the Draggo county seat, Kharnya is home to about 400 families, but owing to poor road conditions in the area, no teacher can be persuaded to remain in the township to teach, the source said.

Is this the case or, like many townships, have students been moved to a central boarding school? There is a great surplus of university graduates who cannot find jobs. Thus, it is hard to imagine there are no teachers here.
