Wangchuk from NYC :

Readers should understand the Tibetan struggle is at its heart a nationalist, anti-colonial struggle. Tibetans want freedom from Chinese colonial rule. This movement is no different from the anti-colonial movements that brought freedom to countries in Africa, Asia, & Latin American in the 19th & 20th centuries.
