The UN definition of poverty is income less than US$1/day. By that definition most Tibetans in Tibet are still in poverty today. Bhutan has the same culture/religion as Tibet yet the per capita GDP in Bhutan is higher than Tibet. So much for Chinese socialism. Failed.
