Forcing Tibetans to learn Mandarin Chinese is a violation of PRC law & int'l law protecting cultural rights. It's classic colonialism when the invader forces the conquered people to adopt the invaders' culture & language. The Japanese did it to Koreans & Taiwanese and Europeans often did that in their former colonies too.
