Yes, I am ethnically Chinese, and Tibet is still part of China, and you can check all the maps in the world, and they will confirm that fact. India has too many problems to criticize China...like 600 million who doent even have indoor toilets?
Once the US returns land to the sioux, or the Lakodas, or Australia to the Oborigines, we dont really have much to talk about.

"Mike" (who is probably Chinese) claims that China has the right to rule Tibet by force alone. That is the only way China currently rules Tibet since the Tibetan don't recognize Chinese sovereignty over Tibet. But under int'l law Tibet was independent at the time of the PRC invasion in 1949-50. So this is an occupation. Thus, Tibetans have the right to resist this occupation. But China makes no claim to rule Tibet by force b/c if so, then any other country can invade China or Tibet, conquer it & then its rule would be legitimate by right of conquest. Mike's view of the world seems stuck in the Dark Ages when kingdoms did conquer each other & ruled by violence alone. Under Mike's logic, India would have the right to invade & take over Tibet & if they can hold onto it, then India has sovereignty over Tibet. I suppose Mike thinks colonialism is a good idea b/c that's what Chinese rule in Tibet is all about.

Why argue with these people? Tibet or Xizhang belongs to China. If somebody doesnt like it, they can leave. The US was built on conquest and genocide of the native peoples...so was Russia. So why should China ever have to prove herself? I hope the Chinese government will not even trouble itself with answering this. The lama will pass from old age, and the whole movement will peter out.

If we allow ourselves to participate in open conversations we may learn something. If we bury our heads in the sand and insist that we know everything already, we will learn nothing. I prefer to keep an open mind. What about you?

This serves the purpose of reality of one country totally lost their rights of owner. We strongly condemn the Chinese Communists for their repeated arrogant and ignorant actions to Tibetan People as the Vietnamese Communists did to Khmer Kroms. We should reeducate those communist regimes once again to true History.

china invaded another country - just like russia invaded eastern europe - no different - expanding their empire - no different to imperialists throughout history - Then China became worried that what happened to the USSR in 1989 would happen to them (thus Tiananmen square) -
communism was scared - but shouldn't be..
true socialism exists when capitalism subsides - then there is a "social" response - a communal response that is more like the old days .... religion is part of that - not seperate...

Until there are discussions about a "Free" Australian Native state, or real "nations" for the Lakodas, Sioux, Chicktaws etc etc etc. all this call for "Free Tibet' is nothing but drivel from a group of overly educated, hugely entitled, and grossly misled lefties who think nothing of "protesting" while living on their parents' allowance, which by the way, came from the money made doing business with China. Hypocracy stinks...

If this article proves anything, it only proves the whole "Middle Way" is just a big hoax on the Chinese people. The Chinese government should never negotiate with these exiles, who have forsaken their Chinese citizenship in the first place. They are nothing but a fifth-column for foreign anti-China forces.
