the question of accountability by Myanmar is a bit rich:
1. 1946: Muslim Leaders in Yakhine State made a direct petition to Mr. Ali Jinnah to incorporate Yakhine State with the then East Pakistan (Bangladesh today) "TO BE WITH THEIR MUSLIMM BROTHERS"failing in this the Muslim Leaders and there Rohingyas supporters began a Mujahideen Insurgency, with the 2016/17 climax, which now included Islamists Terrorists.
Considering the murder, rape, robbery destruction of state property, who is the UN going to hold responsible.
2. 1971: Bangladesh War of Liberation, as a result more than 500,000 Bangladesh Refugees and their dependents crossed over into the Yakhine State and have been there eversince for the past 47 years and a possible more than 1 million Bangladeshi illegals.
Who is the UN going to hold responsible.
In both of the above 2 scenarios, all events occurred within Myanmar Sovereign Territory, Myanmar has every right to protect its borders irrespective of the consequences and pain and suffering brought upon the Rohingyas - in lay man's language RETRIBUTION brought upon themselves the Rohingyas.
