I wonder if this Mrs. Suu does understand the word democracy...Her understanding of democracy may be so: "As-long-as-I-am-an-underdog-I-get-all-kinds-of-freedom-When-I-am-in-Power-any-kind-of-freedom-that-hurts-my-power-is-prohibited". Her father Aung San was the one who introduced a totalitarian dictatorship into Myanmar and was the founder of the "Communist Party of Burma". More: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aung_San
And we all know that Communists never give up anything, and never tolerate any kind of opposition. Doubt? See China, N.Korea, Vietnam, etc.
Mrs. Suu Kyi should step back and lets the true democratic force blossom. As long as this woman stands in the limelight all democratic movements either perish or become absurd.
