That is a good new for Cambodia people. However, if the election is taking place today, Mr. Hun Sen will definitely loose the election if it frees and fairs. On the other hand, fire the NEC members now and the new NEC members must elect by the Cambodia National Parliament with an equal number on both parties. That way no one is able to cheat at each other. Hand pick is communist way of politic; election is democracy way of politic. It seemed that this NEC was totally corrupt and bribery by Hun Sen’s government. Cambodia people need to learned their past experience and do not allow Hun Sen‘s government committing another genocide again.

CPP lawmaker Chheang Vun said that the government would not bow to opposition demands for a reelection. “The law doesn't allow for an election before the end of a term.”

Really? Really really really? I remember clearly that law didn't say anything about having 2 prime ministers in 1993. And the there was Senate at the time but you created one anyway. Sounds to me, if there is a will, there is a way. Don't you agree?
