Such political stalemate is not new, not the first time, as known. It has happened at every single election for the last 4 or so. CPP has been all in good spirit, best manner and quality of a mature and considerate party - with patience, tolerance, willingness to compromise and share power, willingness to meet CNRP's demands from opening secured ballot boxes to CCC's investigation to allowing mass protests, accept huge reduction in assembly seats(what viewed by all as almost like a defeat), etc... 55 seats is a much bigger share of power to help build the nation. So, it is about time to let go of unrealistic pursuit of more power, and get back to what important for the nation and the people.

Spare us your platitude. It was CPP evil conniving that leads to this point. If they could only be honest with themselves, the people, and the country for once, this wouldn't happen. Now the CPP is claiming moral high ground and accusing everyone else as the bad guy and being difficult. Shame on you!!

Did you know U.S election 2000 Bush vs Gore, they had to recount all ballot boxes in Florida because it was so close. Did NEC and CCC recount do a recount here? NO! Why not? Afraid? Afraid of what?

Did you also know that in a democracy protest is allowed, granted by the Constitution?

American-Khmer :

All of you are right. It's time for our KING to step up like a KING and be a KING not a slave. Think about our nation and not money. The question is "Does our KING has a power?" Please CPP your have enough power for over 28 years and of course a mass of money and why are you afraid of stepping down and make the nation change? You can't transfer your power to your own kids. If you are an educate person like they named you, you would know by now that it's time to step down and be wise to your people and nation. Find a good reason to step down before you make yourself as a fool and stupid. IF YOU ARE A MEN LIKE YOU SAID THEN STEP DOWN.. YOU HAVE WAY PLENTY ENOUGH TO LIVE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES FOR MANY GENERATION... LET THE EDUCATED PEOPLE TAKE OVER AND MAKE THE NATION BETTER FOR KHMER PEOPLE..

Hey King,a quote of a sentence of a Manchou (China) era said : "It would rather losing the Monarchy or royal family but not the Nation" did you ever heard that ?. As a King should do something useful for your own nation and
population don't be useless as such.

If the CPP insisting on forming an illegal government, without the CNRP, there going to be an even bigger protest. That would not be good.

Why our king does in a way that CPP want ?
They can not ignore the anger of million voters. CPP should not be afraid to show victory under independent investigation for dignity and political stability of the country.

A puppet king is a useless king. What Cambodia needs is a real King like Thailand.

if you take your time to ruminate the Khmer's history and you will see why our
nation has to deal with this situation.
What did happen before Pol Pot? Why Sihanouk joined the Khmer rouge and supporting the North Vietnamese? Learn something.
