Allan from Hua Hin :

`the article suggests it is illegal overfishing that is responsible, so it should have been better regulated. Maybe they did the Vietnamese a favour by leaving them alone, but now it is payback for their hands off-approach. In addition they allowed deforestation; also they have allowed the Mekong to be dammed, why, obviously because they can't complain to the Chinese, who have such a stranglehold in Cambodia.

They can come to Cambodia legally or they should be deported. It is sad for those already living there. Life under corrupt regime is hard.

<<<Tot Kim Sroy, the Minorities Rights Organization (MIRO) coordinating official in Kampong Chhnang, told RFA that the poverty among the Vietnamese living on the lake is epidemic, but the biggest challenge is the lack of fish.>>>

"Lack of fish" is a concerned. What is this corrupt government doing to solve this problem?
