Like most other Asian communist despots, Hun Sen is dying his hair jet black to appear younger and more vigorous than he actually is.

Reply to this commentFour others—including a monk—who protested against their arrest, were also taken into custody and sentenced to a year each for “aggravating a rebellion.”
aggravating rebellion? really? This is not rebellion but aggravating rebellion. Get that people? Aggravating and you get a year in prison, but police shot innocent people got no jail time. Anyway, why would people rebel under democracy? Unless it's under Hun Sen repressive kingdom.

Reply to this commentWhy bother asking Hun Sen for the motives behind the recent arrests? Get real people. He is a criminal himself.

Reply to this commentHS is using the juridical system as his scapegoat. There nothing is being done without his dictatorship puppets’ approvals. If they do not protest they will die and if they do they will be jailed. How much more will Cambodian people let this Man destroy the country and the freedom of the fabric of Khmer society? This is not a way to run a country under democracy. It doesn’t take a blind man to see how much Cambodian people are suffering in the hand of one Man! He must go…in order for Cambodian people to survive. Karma and pay back is a bitch! You’ll see….!!! Do not understate the power of people who are suffering!!!

Reply to this commentIf protesting and making one's voice be heard is a criminal act, should't starting a coup (1997), being part of a terrorist regime (Khmer Rouge), ordering brute police cops to shoot on protesters (2014) and ensuring the continued rule of the terrorist CPP be even MORE criminal?
Cambodia is one of the most corrupt countries of the world. Hun Sen is part of the 10 Worst Dictators list and has ruled since 1979 with the continued help of his masters in Hanoi. The evictions are one of the most brutal in the world. The press is not free. Speech is not free (as this article proves). Tons of money flows in from the other countries and yet it does not reach the people who need it the most.
The corruption is like a cancer in Cambodia. You have to eliminate it or else it will kill you.
Ah Kwak, you can't continue to escape from your bad deeds. People will seek revenge. Your days are numbered.
