Interesting comment there Mr. Sam Rainsy. If I remember clearly, FUNCINPEC said the same thing before they jointed CPP. 4+4+1 formula is no different from 50%+1 formula CPP was seeking. How is that last NEC member selected? By 50%+1 in NA or a committee? What happened to the demanding of independence NEC? It seems now NEC is under the influence of both CPP and CNRP. Although I supported the agreement, I see many problems ahead because both parties didn't think through the potential problems down the road. I am willing to give the benefit of doubt that the CNRP will fight for changes, for the better future. If people don't see CNRPs results for change, the party will lose supporters by next election. These unhappy supporters might go and find a third party. So CNRP needs to prove them wrong by showing they are working for the people. Remember, parties are created by people and destroyed by people.

Pol Pot :

When I read the comments of some Khmer expats who live in European or US safety and play as rough as the wanna-be Rambos. They won't accept the fact that any step that leads to a reconciliation is big step forward. They talk about Democracy, but act as if they were the most uneducable despots who despise every democratic move. This ex-Khmer Rouge Hun Sen is either a good gambler or a man who could be a good maverick.
