Well, they are in fact Bengali ethnic from Chittagong region. They speak Chittagonian Bengali language. The poor Bengali Muslims are still trying to enter illegally from Bangladesh to Burma. The human traffickers promised them to get job in Yangon and go to Malaysia via Thailand. There's no connection between Bengali ethnic and Rakhine ethnic. Thanks to British, the East Pakistan (Bangladesh) got away with Chittagong Hill Tracts. The Chittagong Hill Tracts was historically belonged to Burma. The native peoples of Chittagong Hill Tracts are Rakhine ethnics and Burmese ethnics. They were Indianized by British Colony. All the problems in Western Burma and Eastern India were created by British.
