Up to now Thailand is not democratic. At best a bit democratic and currently military dictatorship.

These Sweet Old Boys commies will exploit Laos until the last drops of its blood. They don't care about the welfare of Laos people. All they want is money for themselves and for their kins period! On the other hand Lao people can die five times over it's the least of their concern.

Reply to this commentThe only way for this to stop is to remove the communist government and replace them with a right wing government giving power and elections to the Lao people.

Corruption is endemic throughout the world. Being a democratically elected government does nothing to stop peoples greed, just hides it better.
Blaming 'commies'for Laos problems when exactly the same things happen in Thailand which is democratic debunks the theory that if you had a democratically elected party running Laos corruption would be any less.
