So, so sad that my parent's country is going through this. I'm not surprised that none of my relatives want to live there anymore. They'd suffer so much. Who can you rely on if even your government won't help you? Do these people not realize that the young generation and citizens overall contribute to the socio-economic rise of a country? I'm so ashamed

I thought that the government required certain amount of fund to do business in Laos to cover such circumstances. Yes, accident or natural disastrous do happen but the government and the business owner should compensate and taking responsibilities of those whose effected by the flood. I hope it's a listen learn for future government granted project. As a comparison; the government often punished and fine individual citizen for a ridiculous often 10 times more than what was given to individual that effected by the flood that cause by ???. All responsibilities parties should be ashamed(the government, investors and company owners)and please don't blame natural disaster or god. Thank you.

Lao party-state, you must read this piece of news that will make you understand perhaps the situation in which Lao victims of dam collapse live in. Open your hearts and eyes to a bit to see the shameful policies you have led and the criminal acts of barbarism you've imposed to your people. You know perhaps they are human beings, they are not animals. Take care of Lao people for heavens sake. The money that you and your gangs have can buy food for these people for at least 10 years or longer.
