The sympathy from Lao commie disapora is counted for worthless .You think you are better educated than other people, know more and know best.Sad huh!You help Laos get closer to desaster and you seem satisfied. You help your kins exploit it and you say that is reconstruction. When hundreds of thousands of Lao leave the country to look for jobs in the neighboring Thailand you say lots of Lao prefer to live outside the country. Now you're trying to lure Lao back from the richer countries by promising them Lao nationality and Lao green cards because you have nothing left any more.Come to your senses. Very soon you can cry your eyes out and no-one would listen to you. Laos's meeting with other four commie brother coutries recently is the sign of your last chance to cheer up one another before the collapse.

The nationality laws are different from one state to another, some of the most interesting one deserve to be highlighted here:
Russia offers citizenship to individuals descended from Russian ancestors who can demonstrate an affinity for Russian culture and preferably, speak Russian.
The immigration law of the People's Republic of China gives priority to returning oversea Chinese- ethnic Chinese who were living abroad with various incentive such as tax break, high salaries and exemptions from one child policy if they had two children while living abroad.
The original law of return enacted by Israel in 1950, gives all Jews, persons of Jewish ancestry up to at least grandparent, and spouses of the Jews the right to immigrate to and settle in Israel and obtain citizenship.
In the case of the LPDR, the priority shall be granted to all the Lao nationals who are attached to the motherland, and who support directly and indirectly the national reconstruction, the socio-economic development of the country with mission to graduate from the least developed status, independently from the sum of money and the importance of investment and business they may have in Laos.
