The level of water in the Mekong River is extremely low due to the drought, the inhabitants who live along the Mekong banks suffer too much, the different species of fishes, and the famous giant catfishes included are in danger.
In order to fix this situation Laos has an urgent task to build the hydroelectric dams across the Mekong to regulate the debit and keep the water at good level for the navigation the year round and to save the different species of fishes in their reproduction.
Furthermore the hydroelectric dams will provide the green energy of renewable source that is safe and affordable in price to the countries in the region that will need for the industrialization of their respective country.
