Not much to say, as in many other occasions those "mining" concessions are not other than another way to destroy entire forests "legally"... for what the word "legal" worth in Laos.

Reply to this commentAs long as the corrupted Lao government receives money directly in their pocket, they will allow you to dump depleted uranium and other toxic chemicals. They don't care about the locals, only for themselves.

I definitely agree with superman! Soon Laos will be a dumping site of toxic and nuclear waste from China and Russia.
