As a Laotian myself. I can say faithfully that Vietnamese are more of a threat to Laos sovereignty and nationalism then the Chinese or Thais. Vietnamese only interest is to absorb Laos and the ppl mind into Vietnamese orbits. In Laos longest history. There was never peace associated with Vietnamese encroachment into Laos.

Reply to this commentThis article misleads readers about the real national threat in Laos: more Chinese nationals and Chinese-controlled interests currently, operate freely than Vietnamese. Without Thailand and Vietnam, Laos will be fully, absorbed by China in the matter of weeks.
