Lao government should step in to help, get some sample from the river and have it tested for the chemical used in banana plantation and should move quickly. These Chinese [farms] know that the villagers would not dare to complain against them and would not have ability to test the water because of the lack of knowledge so they take advantage of that. It seems like every banana plantation owner doesn't care or give a damn about these poor Lao people at all. They came into the country with money so they can do whatever they want and that's the truth. They know poor Lao people lack of advanced technologies, equipment, knowledge, and resource to be able to testify against them.
