We all welcome the new democratic reform in Burma, it is long overdue real political leaders ought to compromise and share ruling for its citizen. Citizen is the owner of the land not a dozen of radical poliburo icons.
Lao is one example, the current ruling party may make some progresses since 1975 but the majority of the people still suffer with giantatic economic powerty, freedom of press, free election and inflation.
The cost of consumer goods in Lao is equivalent to the US market but the man labor is ten times lower than the US. How would the people suppose to get out from powerty?
Only the communist elite and some merchandlords can enyoy the the life style; others will suffer permanently unless a reform took place soon like Burma. The world need to push Lao toward reform ASAP.
