Just another day for the Lao government not giving a fly on even the highest of profile projects such as dams when it comes to putting effort and investigating its faults nor does it listen to criticism from others. Let me remind that I don't even criticize the country as much as its government, their overall governance generally sucks. Sombath's disappearance is the reason things like this happens and when they went downhill pretty hard as far civil society activities and the likes go. Even with a reformist as the prime minister, the chance that the Lao government will step up its politics would be a overstatement.
