Building China-Town in Vientiane will not bring any economic prosperity to the Lao people. It is just adding more population and economic disaster into the city. For the next century, Vientiane will fill up with million Chinese residents. Those million of Chinese will take over the city and kick out Lao residents somewhere else. For Vientiane current residents, do not get too exciting about this project. It will destroy your future, your kids future, your dream, your kids dream and your ancestor history that they had been created for you century ago.
