Jay Simkin from Nashua, NH, USA :

"Execution" is a penalty imposed by a Court, wherein an accused has a right to a robust defense. North Korea is the antithesis of Rule of Law. Thus, there are no "executions" North Korea. There are only murders.

Those, whom the regime dislikes, it murders. Sometimes the regime murders quickly, i.e., with a bullet. Others are murdered slowly, by forced labor, exposure to extreme cold or heat, starvation, etc.

When describign the acts of terrorists or genocidal regimes - North Korea's regime is both - it is wrong to use words that suggest legal process. Such abuse of language cloaks the underlying evil.
