A private citizen from Australia :

Sad news. I remark that perhaps Mr Trump should think like a chess player rather than a gambler. There is no evidence that Mr Trump will demand that North Korea and China must afford the basic human rights to their citizens before making a deal. The South China Sea issue and relevant issues are issues. Mr Trump could while asserting US power request as a preamble to negotiations: Remove illegal Chinese bases from the islands in SCS. Enable North Koreans and Chinese citizens access to the internet. Mr Kennedy faced Khrushchev concerning missiles in Cuba. May I remark that if it came to it Australians who fought in the Korean war would be onside.Missile threats tend to be desperate attempts to retain power and best ignored. Mr Trump looks a bit silly ingratiating himself with Mr Kim.
