These Hong Kong people are aspiring to have full democracy in a society they live in. These people are friends of the West. What is wrong with friends helping friends. The Communist Party intend on taking complete control of Hong Kong in the near future. This is their goal. The agreement in 1997 means nothing to them. Once they got that noose around your neck, there would be no escape. Just look at people living in mainland China. The Communist continue to spend hundreds of billions of dollars to prevent freedom.
