The old saying is still true "absolute power corrupts absolutely". The spoiled upper class of the 'new' China are abusing their power and the cracks in the regime are being noticed by more and more average people in China. It will be fascinating to watch how the open media provided by the internet will influence people's opinions and actions. Will the next generation choose to fight for democracy or have they been pacified enough to maintain the status quo and ignore the missteps of their leaders and the politically/economically elite?
Never mind at least it was a glamorous death never mind the death of society...
