I think this article is written in a extremely biased and one sided way against China.

Reply to this commentWhat we see here is that the CCP is corrupt to the core & right to the top leaders. Officials do not rise w/i the party unless they engage in some corruption and certainly they do not become rich or the families rich w/o corruption & probably embezzlement of funds. Meanwhile 95% of the Chinese people make less than US$10K annually and 300 million Chinese make less than $US2/day. One party rule, corruption, lack of free speech & free media, abuse of authority, income inequality, and lack of justice in the system for ordinary people. The Chinese system is ripe for another revolution.

The article is not "against China" but instead for a China whose national leaders are not selected in secret by a single special interest group but who are voted into office by the entire voting-age populace and required to declare their assets, both at home and abroad, as a condition of holding public office. The party-state's officials have never been required to declare their assets, so they have frequently hidden a fortune of ill-gotten gains in places with bank secrecy laws such as Switzerland and Cayman Islands.
