The PRC is one of the least free nations in the world when it comes to a free media. Domestic media and the Internet are censored. Foreign journalists are harassed, blocked, expelled, and foreign media is often blocked when they report on sensitive subjects. The CCP will never allow genuine media freedom in China b/c they don't want the Chinese people learning the truth about the CCP.
