Looks like the Old Guard won out in the most recent leadership handover in the CCP. So expect conservative policies, maintenance of the status quo, and reactionary methods to any form of dissent. The Party isn't changing but China is & one day the Chinese people will end the CCP dynasty.

All these old men in charge of the authoritarian Party-state can bring is more of the same "stability maintenance" implemented through rampant censorship and police-state repression of nonviolent expression of dissent. About the only good news is that the SC doesn't include an ambitious fascist like Bo Xilai.
