It would be interesting to know who the author(s) of the error-laden textbook is, and what the author's educational background is. From the news report's content, it is impossible to guess whether the author is prejudiced against homosexuals or has simply been relying on outdated source materials and not bothered to keep up with various new developments in China during the 21st century.
