Neither of the defendants slapped with long prison sentences is guilty of any offense by normal international standards. They neither used nor advocated violence, and are simply political prisoners whom the authoritarian regime is persecuting. Their sentences are extremely harsh and unjust and reflect very poorly on the lawlessness of the PRC government and its lack of rule of law.

Again, these arrests and detention of dissidents are not benefit the country or people, it only benefits the Communist Party power.

$billions and $billions of public money is wasted each year in freedom prevention project by the Communist Party.

China should realize that in 50 years, there will be no Communist Party. And China will have to play catch-up with the rest of world just like it did in economic development under Dung Xiaoping.
