Democratic presidential candidates always promise to be tough on China when it comes to human rights but the reality is completely different. Both Clinton & Obama were rather weak when it came time to stand up to the CCP. They were more concerned with preserving good trade relations. Both the Bush & Trump administrations were tougher on communist China than any Democrat President in the last several decades. We can expect a China appeasement policy from Biden.
