Definitely not a savory character, but hardly more corrupt than the average party bigwig. His real crime? Conspiring with Bo Xilai and other cronies against Xi Jinping and perhaps even trying to overthrow Xi and put Bo in his place. This is mainly about striking down political rivals--not about corruption.
