Which Court in the United Nation then is appropriate for this Arbitration as China would like it? Even if CASE falls into that U.N Court chosen by China, still modern court does not validate CLAIMS TO OWN A PARTICULAR SEA WITHOUT VALID AND LEGAL ADMISSIBLE EVIDENCES. Just by saying that HISTORICAL FACTS WERE THE BASIS FOR CHINA CLAIMS is UN ACCEPTABLE. China has to submit admissible evidences supporting their claims.International Court is not a JOKE.

How about Vietnam companies controlled by Hanoi cutting down all Cambodia and Laos tries everyday now?The forest are gone because of Vietnam. How about Vietnam companies pupping Cambodia sand everyday causing land slide into sea and river,killing people and destroying their homes?
Don't you think China know about your dirty works on your neighbors ? How about hundred and hundred thousands Vietnamese living in Cambodia big lake polluting water and destroying fish and other species habitats ?

The placement of the rig in vietnamese waters near the Paracels serves as distraction to mask activities elsewhere in the Spratly. This is where world attention must be focused. China is transforming a partly submerged reef, the Johnson South Reef , into a naval base with airstriip and supply depot to create a new ADIZ over the South China Sea and this must cause great concern over freedom of navigation. The US and allies are certain to react to the threat.

That is not easy like you just said. It was named "Giao Chi Sea" meant "East Sea in modern Vietnam history for long time until Briton, Westerners sailed through its traded to China then called "South China Sea" do not twisted history to rewrite it when you don't know you Chitnese should read and learn before opnen your mouth.

what is the pinoy's gameplan? It knows china will never accept arbitration after all the horrific unequal treaties that it was forced to sign in the 19 and 20 centuries imposed by the west. China did not shed blood and treasure just so it can be submitted to western dictates again. so, my questions beg, what gives pinoy?

However, when the Hague Tribunal demands a response from China to the legal complaint by the Philippines, there is no response & China refuses to participate. This is an example of China flouting int'l law & refusing to use legal means to resolve territorial disputes. China doesn't respect rule of law and instead uses forces & its economic might to bully & intimidate its Asian neighbors.

Reply to this commentAfter WW2 Japan agreed to return all the islands taken from China before the war. Hence in 1948 China submitted a map of South China sea and East China sea of the islands belong to China historically and all countries agreed to that. But problems started when US found oil and gas in these seas in 1971. It was purely US who instigated all kinds of troubles. US did not even recognize the UNCLOS - UN convention law of sea. Why? because US has done too many claims of territories in breach of that convention which came to been only in 1994 when China was a signatory. Whatever happen now in South China sea or East China sea has nothing to do with UNCLOS hence no country or any kangaroo court has any jurisdiction over China. It is just like say Taiwan, Hong kong and Macau belong to China. Or Florida belongs to US. there is no dispute over such a plain facts. If any country tries not to accept this common sense surely there will be no peace.

When our culture has thrived over many centuries, in seeming harmony with its environment-no need for mines, for worldwide war, for wanton habitat destructing, for transferring billions of barrels of oil from the ground into the atmosphere, which only accelerated environmental destruction!
We may have acquired some credible grounds for passing such level of wisdom! Is it possible the we know something you do not! You might ask why we could not to learn living with you or we should ask you why you not try to learn how to live with china if not you could be crust?

What a joke. The international court in the Hague that only prosecutes war criminals that are enemies of NATO. Right, I am sure China would get a fair trial there.
