Any form of worship other than hero-worship of the supposedly infallible head of party and state Xi Jinping is being threatened by the control freaks who rule the communist party. These control freaks are obviously insecure about the long-term viability of their monopolistic control of the government, army, judiciary, and state-run enterprises.

This article needs to clarify that these were draft rules only, and have yet to be enacted. The rules did not take effect on October 7, they were issued for public comment until that time.
