No gay pride marches allowed in mainland China--communist party rulers are deathly afraid that any public demonstration might turn into a protest of rule by a tiny unelected elite of party oligarchs. Nor do party apparatchiks have any respect for civil rights of ordinary civilians (derided as fart people).
